“The five senses are the ministers of the soul.”
– Leonardo da Vinci
Following our first official event in Hong Kong, we reveal our 5 Senses collection.
The inspiration for the collection came last year when founder of REVÉ, René Chu, donated 600 glasses to The Art of Elysium Heaven Gala honoring Stevie Wonder. “It really made me think about the senses, how we use them in everyday life, and how we sometimes take them for granted,” says Chu. “The inspiration started there and eventually trickled down to a complete collection.”
The 5 Senses collection touches on various senses and emotions, creating a perfect balance of sophistication and childlike wonder.
Touch: The Alphabet Collection is the first of its kind in eyewear. The playful concept allows wearers to get creative and express themselves by customizing their sunglasses with gold-coated magnetic letters. Would you put your name? Your lover’s name? Represent your city? There are no rules.

Taste: We took the classic retro-inspired aviator and gave it a sweet twist with the Jellybean range. The flattering frame features vibrant tinted lenses with colors inspired by the iconic candy, and is designed to sit on a lower nose bridge for a perfectly proportioned fit.
Smell: What does 4am feel like? Melancholy? Beautifully meditative? Like a kind of lonely romance? This contemplation inspired the 4am sunglasses along with the our first candle, which features an earthy and elegant scent created by Äi Äi Lab in Taipei.
Sight: Micro lenses are back, baby! The big names in fashion – think Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Rihanna – are going small this season when it comes to eyewear, and we channel this 90s trend with three small but chic frames; Dopey, Peppy & Baby.
Sound: Summer just isn’t summer without music. Whether you’re heading to a music festival, going on a road trip or sailing out to beautiful islands, the BPM sunglasses are the perfect accessory for enjoying the sun while listening to good tunes.
