To celebrate the very first issue of VOGUE Hong Kong, a launch party was held at the luxurious Rosewood Hong Kong - recently unveiled - on the Victoria Harbour front; the night was titled ‘Culture Through the Lens of Fashion’. The evening was graced by many of the city’s fashionistas and celebrities; told to ‘Come in Vogue’, there was no shortage of style and flair. The guest of honour, Carrie Lam (Chief Executive of Hong Kong), spoke of the city’s unique mixture of East and West and the creativity that arises through the juxtaposition of tradition and modernity. She also expressed her hope for VOGUE Hong Kong to act as a conduit for Hong Kong culture to the rest of the world.
